indictments

QUESTION OF THE DAY

The indictments of Tom Delay by a DEMOCRAT prosecutor in Texas: Are they a result of OLD BOY NET WORK POLITICS (meaning have these older established politicians become so niave that they believe they can do literally anything because they are above they law and they believe their political friends and influence will protect them)? or are they a result of the DEMOCRATIC PARTIES INABILITY TO WRESTLE THE WHIE HOUSE AND BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS FROM THE REPUBLICANS because they simply have no ideas nor will they have any ideas in the foreseeable future. (No candidate with any kind of vision for America).

All opinions are welcome on this and every question or comment posted on this blog.

FOOTBALL

Tommy Maddox of the Pittsburgh Steelers once again showed the justification in why he should never play another game for them. He is the worst QB on the team. Charlie Batch should have played.

One has to wonder how much of a role money and team politics played in this particular decision.

Rev. Jesse Jackson

The ridiculous item of the day posted on the O'rielly Factor yesterday was a story about Jesse Jackson leading a bus trip to New Orleans in search of answers concerning jobs. A noble cause to be sure, however, the people with the good reverend were not from New Orleans, they were from Mobile and I believe Montgomery! My question is Why bring people from somewhere else to search for job? To me, this made no sense at all. The notion that folks from Mobile and Montgomery would what jobs that far from their homes is riduculous. Now i do understand the thought process behind it, it seems to me that the planning was problematic and the execution was ill-concieved.
Perhaps Rev. Jackson should step down from his political soapbox and step behind his pulpit. He will help more people spiritually than he will by staging poorly planned politically motivated jaunts. Realistically, I know this will not happen but it would incur the wrath of the leftwing anti-religous movment in this country. That is another story for another time.

Congressional Hearings on Spots Drug Use (steriods)

About a week ago we had yet another round of hearings regarding the use of steriods in pro sports. My question is this: How can the American public stand for such an obvious missuse of taxpayer monies? We are seeing a group of politicians who can't keep their own conduct above board, how can we expect them to govern sports? In my opion, the government has no place atemting to clean up sports until the clean up themselves!

new blog

I'm extremely new at this so I really have no idea where to start. Except to let people know this will be an extremel
y polilical blog. All opinions are welcome on all issues. All I ask is that they be well thought out and not mind numbingly stupid. That might be a tad harsh but knowledge and intelligence is how we grow as people and become strong as a nation.
